FAA Investigates Experimental Plane Crash

The F-A-A is investigating the crash of a light plane near San Angelo this week that injured a pilot. State troopers say 73-year-old Robert Heiser, Junior, was hospitalized after his experimental plane crashed into a back yard shortly after takeoff from Ducote Airpark west of San Angelo. WItnesses reporting the aircraft appeared to stall. Heiser's injuries not reportedly serious. The plane was a Pulsar X-P experimental fixed-wing aircraft. No one else was aboard and no injuries were reported on the ground.
