March unemployment down

For the seventh month in a row, the unemployment rate in Texas has gone down. The March jobless figure was seven percent, a drop of one-tenth of a point from February. It's also well below the national employment rate of eight-point-two percent. In San Angelo, the numbers are even lower. The March unemployment rate was five-point-three percent, down from five-point-four a month ago and down from six-point-one percent a year ago. For the 20th month in a row, the number of jobs in Texas went up; 10-thousand-900 were added in March.
