A public funeral is set for today for slain Austin police officer Jaime Padron. The 11 AM service at Shoreline Church will include a three-volley rifle salute and a flyover by police aircraft and will be followed by a procession from the church ending in San Angelo, where Padron will be buried on Friday. Padron was shot to death Friday inside a north Austin Walmart while responding to a public intoxication call.
