Padron memorial

More than five-thousand people, many of them law enforcement officers from all over Texas and the rest of the country, turned out Wednesday for a memorial service for a former San Angelo police officer fatally shot last week while a member of the Austin police force. 40-year-old senior officer Jaime Padron was called a hero and a prince by Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo. A procession then brought Padron to his native San Angelo for funeral services and burial tomorrow.
