It's the final day to drop those federal tax returns in the mail. Tax returns must be postmarked by today to qualify for timely filing. Taxpayers should double check postage to make sure it's sufficient and won't be returned. You can file for an extension, but if you owe Uncle Sam money, you have to pay up now.
