Burn ban

Just in time for Fourth of July, Tom Green Commissioners agreed Tuesday to issue a burn ban. It's effective three months. Except for prescribed burns, any open-outdoor burning is a prohibited. However, you will be allowed to cook outside using stoves fueled by white gas, propane or natural gas. And the burn ban does not prohibit fireworks in the county.
