Three Angelo State University physics students have been awarded prestigious scholarships by the national Society of Physics Students organization for the 2012-13 academic year. Blake McCracken, a senior physics major from San Angelo, is one of only three recipients nationally of the SPS Outstanding Leadership Scholarship and will receive three-thousand dollars. Dawn Olivia Popnoe and David To are two of only 14 national recipients of the SPS Leadership Scholarship and will each receive two-thousand dollars.
