Concho Valley PAWS is joining with hundreds of animal welfare organizations nationwide today for “Just One Day”: an initiative to prevent unnecessary euthanasia of adoptable pets. Hundreds of animal shelters, including San Angelo Animal Services, have taken a pledge to focus on adoptions and not to euthanize any savable animals today. PAWS always encourages people to adopt a rescued dog or cat. Today, PAWS will be offering discounted adoption fees of 100 dollars for dogs and 50 dollars for cats.
