This weekend, San Angelo will celebrate Juneteenth, when news of the emancipation of slaves finally arrived in Texas. A parade begins tomorrow at 10 AM at the Carver Learning Center on West 9th. it ends with lunch at MLK park. On Sunday at 2 PM, the Miracle on 18th Ministry will give a special free concert at the Museum of Fine Arts. On Monday from 11:30 AM to 1 PM, Angelo State University will host a celebration at the U. C. Patio.
