You can now get real-time updates on the ERCOT grid--and tips on how to effectively conserve electricity during peak times--on your smartphone or tablet. On Wednesday, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, the grid operator for most of Texas, unveiled its long-anticipated mobile app that will make energy conservation a little bit easier for iPhone, iPad and Android users.
