A march commemorating the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Junior's March on Washington will end on the steps of San Angelo City Hall Saturday morning. The march will begin at 9 AM at MLK Park. Reverend Craig Meyers of San Angelo's MLK Celebration Committee says it will be followed by a 40-minute program to--quote--"highlight what happened and to challenge people to engage in the unfinished issue that have folks behind in opportunities and quality of life."
