Late Monday night, San Angelo police responded to a reported hit and run crash in which a driver hit a light police and fled the scene on foot. It happened near North Bryant Boulevard and 29th Street. Officers found a utility police sheared in half and an unoccupied 1998 Mercury sedan with massive damage, which had also apparently crashed into a a parked pickup truck. The driver was eventually located nearby; she is identified as 51-year-old Ronda Gunn Stewart of San Angelo. Stewart was not injured but she was arrested and transported to the Tom Green County Jail.
