Two San Angelo police officers and the suspect were injured during the investigation of a prowler reportedly trying to gain entry into a residence in the 5400 block of Woodbine. It happened Tuesday night. A man later identified as 41-year-old Tony Arroyo of San Angelo was allegedly found attempting to break through the back door. Officers said Arroyo appeared agitated and intoxicated and there was a brief struggle before he was taken into custody. The injuries sustained by the suspect and two officers were minor. Arroyo is facing several charges, including resisting arrest and assault on a public servant.
