Two members of the City of San Angelo Track Club were recognized by Mayor Dwain Morrison at Tuesday's city council meeting. Zac Cabrera and Jessica Simon medaled in the recent State Games of Texas and qualified for the 2014 State Games of America. Simon qualified in two events – winning silver in the girls 12 and under 800-meter run and in the 1600-meter run. Cabrera won silver in the boys 16 and under 1600-meter run.
