Gas prices down

Retail gasoline prices appear to be on a downward trend that could last into Labor Day weekend. That's according to Triple-A, which says prices are now below levels of a year ago. The nationwide average for a gallon of regular today is three-56, down six cents from a week ago. In Texas, the statewide average price is three-41 a gallon, also down six cents. In San Angelo, gas-buddy-dot-com reports that the price of regular ranges from three-22 to three-37 a gallon.
