The City of San Angelo will begin its annual program of street maintenance next Monday. Sealcoating of designated streets throughout the city is anticipated to be completed in two to three weeks. Sealcoating is a preventative measure that involves applying a thin layer of asphalt and rock to a street’s surface to prevent moisture from seeping into the asphalt and damaging the roadway’s base.
