The City of San Angelo's online auction will end today using staggered closing times. For example, item No. 1 will close at 10 a.m. Item No. 2 will close one minute after that. That will continue until all 51 lots are closed. Also, dynamic bidding will be in place. That means no item will close until five minutes of inactivity in the bidding. This prevents eBay-style bidding in which bidders wait until the last seconds to place a bid, thus preventing other bidders from placing a higher bid.
