Family, friends, and the community of Wall came together today for an auction. It's to help the Block and Smith families after 36-year-old Kerri Block and 31-year-old Brandon Block were shot and killed in July at Kerri's home.
The event was held from 12 to 3 Saturday at the St. Ambrose Church. Volunteers set up for the fundraiser that included a fajita dinner, musical entertainment, a blood drive, as well as live and silent auctions.
Dozens of people and businesses are donating supplies and hundreds showed their support for the families affected by the shooting..
Organizers raised just over 50,000 dollars during today's auction.
