A traffic stop turned into a drug bust in San Angelo on Monday. Officers had pulled over a Ford Ranger pickup in the 22-hundred block of Pecan Street for several traffic violations when they noticed the male driver and female passenger making suspicious movements. The driver, identified as 58-year-old Amando Leal of San Angelo was found to be in possession of about four-point-seven grams of methamphetamine. Leal was arrested. The 26-year-old female passenger was not charged but was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of an unknown medical issue.
