A local builder is donating shelters for abandoned horses in Tom Green County. When the animals are neglected or abused, the county steps in, taking custody of 14 horses since October. Michael Biggerstaff has donated the work and materials for four stalls, a divided corral and building to store feed near the Tom Green County 4-H building and Humane Society on U-S 67 North.
