Howard College Traffic Danger

The Provost at Howard College is campaigning to make her campus more safe. LeAnne Byrd says there needs to be a change at the entrance to campus off North U-S Highway 67, East of San Angelo. During morning rush hour, students line up to turn left into the campus parking lot, while commuters are heading into town. The speed limit is 70 miles per hour. Byrd has asked the city to lower the speed limit or create an alternate entrance into campus with the completion of Smith Boulevard.
