Senate Budget Plan Advancing

The State Senate Finance Committee passed a 176 point five billion dollar budget plan that provides some funding to state services that were cut. But, committee chairman, Steve Ogden, says they’ll need three billion dollars from the rainy day fund to balance the budget. The House version of the bill did not use the rainy day fund and reduces spending by 23 billion.
