The old Kmart building on Loop 3-0-6 is getting a new purpose. It’s going to be the new home of the Glen Meadows Baptist Church. The one thousand member congregation has outgrown its location west of the loop, on Knickerbocker Road and has been considering expansion for over a year. It’s a property swap, with the owners of the Kmart building taking over the current church site. Renovations will start this summer.
