Many Flights Canceled In Wake Of Twisters

Hundreds of flights canceled in Dallas-Fort Worth today in the aftermath of the series of tornadoes that struck north Texas yesterday. DFW airport reporting many of its flights not operating -- a total of 424 today alone just from American Airlines. Many aircraft need to be inspected for possible damage from the high wind and hurtling debris before they'll be cleared to fly again. According to the airline's website, American Eagle flights to San Angelo's Mathis Field were scheduled to go but you're advised to check directly with American if you have flight plans.
