In the face of a drought that's likely to continue, the San Angelo City Council voted Tuesday to accept a bid for a company to pump water from the south pool to the north pool at Twin Buttes reservoir. If it's needed, the pumping would start in July. It would last about two months, moving about 65-hundred feet acre-feet of water a day.
