A small explosion outside Wall High School resulted in a science teacher being severely burned on her arms and hands. School officials say the teacher was outside the school, cleaning lab equipment when a chemical reaction occurred. She was initially taken to Shannon Medical Center but has since been airlifted to the Lubbock Burn Center.
