Angelo State University has announced that the commencement speaker for fall graduation ceremonies. He's Lieutenant General Ronnie Hawkins Junior. A 1977 Angelo State graduate, Hawkins is the highest-ranking alumnus of ASU's Air Force ROTC Detachment 847 and currently serves as commander of the Defense Information Systems Agency headquartered at Fort Meade, Marlyand. Commencement will take place Saturday, December 14th, in the Junell Center/Stephens Arena.
