A veteran of almost 40 years in law enforcement has been chosen as the new emergency management coordinator for the City of San Angelo and Tom Green County. Steve Mild most recently served as a captain in the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office. Mild succeeds Ron Perry, who served in the position for six years prior to retiring at the end of last year. Mild's first day on the job was Monday of this week.
