It's Veterans Day and there are a number of events throughout the area to honor the service of our military men and women. The Veterans Day Parade in downtown San Angelo Saturday very well attended as people linked the streets to pay tribute. The annual parade lasted almost an hour and featured more than 100 entries. A reminder that in observation of Veterans Day, many federal, state and local offices will be closed today. The U.S. Postal Service won't be delivering mail, and , and many local branches of banks are also closed for the federal holiday.
