Good news concerning unemployment in the city of San Angelo. The city's jobless rate in October was four-point-eight percent, down from five-point-one percent the month before. The statewide rate in October was six percent and nationwide it was seven percent. Year over year, San Angelo's labor force grew by 510 workers to 57-thousand-105. The number of employed grew by 490.
