Most City of San Angelo offices will be closed next Monday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day. There will be no interruption of garbage collection or landfill operations. Fairmount Cemetery on West Avenue N will host a Veterans Day celebration at 11 a.m. on Monday. Hosted by the Friends of Fairmount Cemetery, the event at the cemetery will feature Fort Concho's artillery crew and bagpiper, and a keynote address from U.S. Rep. Mike Conaway. And Fort Concho, including the Barracks 1 Visitor Center, will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday for self-guided tours.
