Hickory Aquifer update

Here's an update from the city of San Angelo concerning the Hicory Aquifer project. The 30-inch transmission pipeline from the Hickory Aquifer and the booster pump stations were substantially completed last month. Meanwhile, construction on a groundwater treatment facility has begun as the contractor excavates for the building foundations. Once the Hickory Aquifer project is complete, the improvements will be capable of delivering 9 million gallons per day to San Angelo, supplementing the City's water supply on an as-needed basis.
