Developement and Downtown Drinking on Agenda

The San Angelo City Council meets tomorrow morning at the Convention Center. Members are considering a proposal from the San Angelo Development Corporation that there should be a review of the new development process, with an eye to making it a bit easier. That analysis could cost up to 35-thousand dollars.

Council members will have a second reading of an ordinance that would repeal the ban on outside consumption of alcohol downtown. They could cancel the upcoming city election, since no candidates are opposed. And, they’ll discuss the Lone Wolf pedestrian bridge project. The meeting starts at 9 a-m.
