If you're one of the Concho Valley's many hunters, you'll want to know about changes that have been approved by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission. It has given the go-ahead to using firearm silencers when hunting game animals or game birds. The silencers are already legal in Texas but current rules require an application with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms that includes a 200-dollar fee.
