Church bus, car collide

A collision between a church bus and a car in Tom Green County Monday morning left several people injured. According to the DPS, 39 children--third through fifth graders--were on the Grape Creek Baptist Church bus that was eastbound on highway 2105. It collided with a car driven by 24-year-old Cynthia Carleen Woodson of San Angelo, who was southbound on Schwertner Road. Both vehicles went off the roadway; the bus wound up on its side. 18 children were taken to Shannon Medical Center with minor injuries. Woodson was also taken to the hospital and was cited for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
