Howard College needs a new provost.
LeAnne Byrd has announced her retirement, which begins at the end of this month.
A reception for Byrd takes place next Wednesday at the West Texas Training Center from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
She has worked for Howard for 15 years, the last 10 as provost.
