United Way of the Concho Valley recently awarded Venture Grants totalling 30-thousand dollars to four agencies to provide one-time funding support for programs in the Concho Valley. Boys and Girls Club of San Angelo was awarded eight-thousand dollars to provide backpacks with personal hygiene items to children in need. Meals for the Elderly of San Angelo got more than four-thousand dollars to buy software that will provide a volunteer management system. MHMR of the Concho Valley was awarded 11-thousand dollars for a Behavior Treatment Day program for children with autism and Mosiac was awarded 66-hundred dollars to help buy a motorized lift for their therapeutic riding program.
