K9 tracks down suspect

A San Angelo man was arrested over the weekend after leading police on a vehicle and foot pursuit. An officer attempted to pull over a 2010 Chrysler 300 for failing to properly signal intent to turn at the intersection of Ward Avenue and West Beauregard. But the driver continued onto North Madison at a high rate of speed and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The driver, identified as 31-year-old Courtney Fobb of San Angelo, eventually lost congrol of the vehicle and crashed into a tree in the 400 block of North Madison. Fobb allegedly fled on foot but was tracked down by K9 Service Dog "Snoop" at a residence on Adams Street. Fobb was charged with Evading Arrest and Detention with a Vehicle.
