Tom Green County is taking bids on the Mount Susan property, east of Christoval and north of Pugh Park, May sixth. The 930 acres could be used for grazing or hunting. And, money from the lease would be used for park maintenance.
Commissioners also renewed the County’s contract with Shannon Medical Center's Pharmaceutical Assistance Program, providing pharmacy services to those who cannot afford it. They approved the use of donations to the Sheriff’s Office to buy former Sheriff Joe Hunt’s gun and named a private road in the northeast area of the county Dandy Road.
