AM1 Geocaching class

The whole family is invited to take part in Geocaching, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s activity of the month for September. Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache hidden at that location. A Geocaching 101 class will be held at San Angelo State Park this Saturday at 1:00 pm. The class will meet at the Chaparral Pavilion and learn about Geocaching basics and how to use a GPS unit.
