United Blood Services is continuing an emergency critical appeal for type O-negative blood donors. During the past several weeks, demand for type O-negative blood has outpaced the supply. UBS says it should have a three day supply on hand but currently only one day. A mobile blood drive is scheduled for tomorrow at the Coliseum from 11 AM to 2 PM with each donor receiving a free ticket to the Unite and Conquer music festival. The United Blood Services Donation Center is located at 2020 West Beauregard and is open: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 6, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 2pm and Saturday from 9am - 2pm.
