A man who had been on the run from the law for 41 years was found dead this week near San Angelo. Tom Green County sheriff's deputies got a call regarding an unattended death on Tuesday and the dead man was identified as Charles Johnson. However, an investigation revealed that he might have been living under an alias. They found out that Robert Leroy Parker had escaped from a prison in El Reno, Oklahoma in 1972. Parker, aka Charles Johnson, had been living in the San Angelo area for the past 11 years.
