San Angelo has a new city engineer. Karl Bednarz has more than 30 years of engineering experience with the Texas Department of Transportation. Since 2009, Bednarz had been responsible for all construction, maintenance, traffic and utility activities for the San Angelo district. Bednarz said, quote, “I’m looking forward to being involved in all sorts of infrastructure projects that benefit the community in a host of ways.” Bednarz replaces Clinton Bailey, who is working for the City of Fredericksburg.
