National Preparedness Month

September is National Preparedness Month, set aside to remind Americans to be ready for disasters and emergencies. During the month, the Texas Emergency Management Agency urges residents, businesses and local organizations throughout the state to commit to doing at least of the following tasks: learn about emergencies or hazards in your community and the proper response, build an emergency kit, make a communications plan and get involved in preparedness in your community.
