Police say a San Angelo man involved in a crash early Saturday morning was intoxicated. 24-year-old Rafael J. Martinez was allegedly driving a Dodge Ram 1500 that collided with a Toyota Tundra in the intersection of Sixth Street and North Chadbourne Street. A 24-year-old male passenger in the Dodge truck and a 54-year-old male who was driving the Tundra were each taken to a nearby hospital with incapacitating injuries. Their conditions were not immediately known. Martinez was transported to the Tom Green County Jail and charged with Intoxication Assault with a Vehicle causing Serious Bodily Injury.
