Death at convenience store

On Monday evening, San Angelo Police and Fire personnel responded to the Stripes convenience store at 2718 Sherwood Way for the report of an unconscious man inside the men’s restroom. Employees said they were unable to check on his welfare because his body was obstructing the doorway. Rescue personnel got in and determined that the man was dead. Police found him to be in possession of heroin. It's suspected that the man, who was 26, died of a drug overdose. However, the investigation continues and an autopsy has been ordered. The victim's name was not immediately released.
