Most City of San Angelo offices will be closed Friday as City employees participate in their annual neighborhood blitz project. Most City employees will spend Friday attending to special projects, including improving the Concho River walking trail and Harmon Park, sprucing up a baseball field, and rehab work in the Blackshear neighborhood. Employees who provide public safety services, and needed services will not participate in the blitz. The water billing office will be closed Friday. The effort has grown to two days to include volunteers from local churches, Angelo State University students and Goodfellow Air Force Base personnel.
