The San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department will be increasing the fees charged to Texas Vaccine for Children patients. Effective June 1st, the new fee for eligible children will be 22 dollars, six cents per child per visit. The new fee for eligible adults is 22-oh-six per vaccination. The Texas Department of State Health Services on April 10th increased the maximum administration fee its providers may charge eligible patients, effective immediately, in an effort to help them recoup costs. Health Department administrators opted to give the public 30 days notice before instituting the increase.
