The National Weather Service at San Angelo has issued a special weather statement for west central Texas, including the Concho Valley. A strong late-season cold front will move through this morning and temperatures will fall rapidly. Most locations will drop into the 40's this afternoon. Brisk north winds at 20 to 25 miles an hour with higher guests will result in wind chill values in the upper 30's to low 40's. Areas of frost are possible tomorrow morning.
