Last Thursday evening, San Angelo police spotted a wanted man driving a red GMC Yukon near the 2200 block of Glenwood Street. The suspect attempted to flee on foot after being pulled over but was caught and arrested after a brief struggle. Police say 31-year-old Phillip A. Sosa of San Angelo was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and materials used in the sale and distribution of narcotics. A passenger in the vehicle, 26-year-old Amanda Rivas of San Angelo, was arrested for several outstanding city warrants.
